Natalya will challenge for the NWA Women’s Championship at the Crockett Cup.
The WWE wrestler has previously been announced for the 2025 Crockett Cup. Following the angle on April 17th’s at Josh Barnett’s Bloodsport XIII event, her opponent, Kenzie Page is locked in. Natalya was confronted by Page after Nattie’s win against Miyu Yamashita. The two had a pull-apart brawl down the aisle. This laid the seeds for Billy Corgan’s title match announcement.
On the National Wrestling Alliance’s May 17th event at the 2300 Arena in Philadelphia, PA, we will see who can pull out this victory. The biggest question I have is: Will WWE allow Natalya to win the NWA Women’s Championship? Or is this just to gain publicity for both promotions and wrestlers? I don’t know that I see WWE allowing her to win. I would think there would be some interference or sheagnanians going on. Can you see Nattie getting to carry around the NWA Women’s Championship on WWE TV regularly?
The NWA’s Crockett Cup will include a 16-team tournament along with Thom Latimer defending his NWA Worlds Heavyweight title against Rhyno.
