He told fans that the deal was completed a couple of months ago. However, his deal ticked down to the countdown and was just days away from expiring. WWE CEO and President Nick Khan shook up the WWE Talent Relations department when they realized many WWE stars’ contracts weren’t receiving the detail and attention they needed.
WWE always wanted to keep Priest according to the WWE sources that Fightful Select uses. The two sides talked consistently before a new contract was made official. Happily, Damian Priest is staying on a multi-year deal with WWE.
Priest has written in his deal that he has full control over his new theme song. Fans and those within the WWE have well received it. No one has reported that Priest asked for championship runs or anything like that.
Variety revealed that Priest signed with Paradigm Talent Agency. They will assist in expanding his career through various ways like book deals, acting opportunities, marketing campaigns, and unscripted television roles.
